Noe Cruz Killed, Juan Velasco Arrested Following DUI Single-Vehicle Accident on Road 68 Near 182 Freeway
PASCO, WA (March 12, 2019) – A DUI crash on North Road 68 near the 182 Freeway Sunday night left a passenger dead and the driver in custody.
According to Washington State Patrol, paramedics brought 37-year-old Noe Cruz to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
More details of the crash released, indicating that Juan Manuel Velasco, of Pasco, admitted to having a few drinks before causing the rollover crash. Shortly after, police booked him into Franklin County jail.
In their investigation, authorities determined the 2003 Acura four-door lost control after traveling westbound around 7 p.m. Velasco overcorrected, which caused the car to overturn.
