Injuries Reported in Cathedral City Deadly Crash
Cathedral City, CA (April 10, 2024) – 19-year-old Noah Garcia of Cathedral City suffered fatal injuries following a 33rd Avenue vehicle crash Monday night.
It was about 9:07 p.m. when a speeding car slammed into another vehicle on Cathedral Canyon Drive. Responding officers said they located two loaded and unregistered handguns on the speeding vehicle.
Garcia, the driver of the first vehicle was declared deceased at Desert Regional Medical Center. The medical team rushed Garcia’s passengers, two juveniles, along with two women, ages 20 and 21, to hospitals with major injuries.
Moreover, the driver of the second vehicle wasn’t injured and a passenger in the same car incurred minor injuries.
Officers are investigating.
