PHELAN, CA (November 30, 2021) – Monday morning, a tractor-trailer crash on Phelan Road near Trinidad Road led to no serious injuries.
 
The incident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. on Phelan Road, between Trinidad Road and Zing Road.
 
According to CHP Officer Mike Mumford, a truck-tractor combination headed west on Phelan Road. Meanwhile, a 62-year-old Victorville resident drove the Snowline Joint Unified School District bus east.
 
“The driver of the truck-tractor traveled into the opposing traffic lane. Directly in the path of the school bus at which time the right front of the truck-tractor and the right front of the school bus collided,” said Mumford.
 
After the crash, the semi went west and crashed with a 28-year-old Victorville resident driving a Toyota Rav4.
 
The driver of each vehicle complained of pain. However, no one required any hospitalization. Also, no children were on board the school bus during the crash.
 
As a result, Phelan Road remained closed for a couple of hours.
