Wenatchee Pedestrian Accident on Peachey Street and Mission Street
WENATCHEE, WA (January 4, 2021) – Saturday night, a pedestrian crash on Peachey Street and Mission Street led to no serious injuries.
According to reports, just after 5:00 p.m., a U-Haul truck hit an unidentified woman from Wenatchee. The woman was crossing Peachey Street and Mission Street when the incident happened.
Meanwhile, Wenatchee Police Sergeant Erik Vasquez revealed that the female driver of the U-haul headed south. Meanwhile, the victim and another person walked across Mission Street, with an orange crossing flag.
“As they were traveling east to west, there was a car in front of the U-Haul.” said Vasquez, “The other car continued through the intersection. However, the U-Haul didn’t see them in the crosswalk and struck the female.”
The female pedestrian complained of head, neck, back, and ankle pain. However, she didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver has been cooperative and didn’t show signs of impairment.
Due to limited information, the authorities continue to investigate the incident. Also, the authorities haven’t clarified whether charges will be made.
