Ukiah Two-Vehicle Accident on US 101 near Golden Rule RV Park

 
UKIAH, CA (October 20, 2021) – Early Monday, a head-on crash on US 101 near Golden Rule RV Park led to serious injuries.
 
The incident occurred at 2:50 a.m. on southbound US 101, south of Golden Rule RV Park. Also, the authorities confirmed that the crash involved a silver Toyota Tundra and a black Mercedes S65.
 
According to reports, the Mercedes headed south on US 101, south of Golden Rule RV Park at an unknown speed. As the vehicle exited a left turn, it lost traction with the road and the driver lost control. Eventually, the vehicle faced the wrong way against the cement barrier.
 
After the initial crash, the Nissan Trunda traveled south on US 101 at an unknown speed in the #1 lane.
 
As the Tundra driver exited a left turn, the driver saw the Mercedes directly in front of him blocking the #1 lane. However, the Tundra driver failed to avoid a crash. The Tundra struck the front of the Mercedes, leaving both vehicles with major damage.
 
After the crash, the Tundra driver managed to exit his vehicle on his own. Meanwhile, the emergency personnel assisted the Mercedes driver.
 
Medical personnel treated both drivers at the scene. Then, they took them to local hospitals for further evaluation.
