Victorville Auto Accident on Ridgecrest Road and Yates Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (March 21, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a T-bone crash on Ridgecrest Road and Yates Road led to no serious injuries.

The incident happened at around 4:52 p.m. on Ridgecrest Road and Yates Road, near Spring Valley Lake.

When the Victorville City Fire responded with the CHP, they found a black BMW sedan and a Ford F250 with a 22 ft. trailer blocking the roadway.

Reports confirmed that the black car traveled at a high rate of speed on Ridgecrest Road. Then, it lost control at the curve, hit the dirt, and veered sideways. Meanwhile, the truck with the trailer couldn’t stop in time and t-boned the black car.

The force caused the passenger door on the car to hit against the driver’s side.

As a result, a teenage backseat passenger of the truck suffered cuts to his head from a broken window on the 5th wheel. Then, the sole occupant of the BMW, the driver remained alert and talking.

Moreover, the trailer linked to the trailer sustained damages and had to be removed with the help of a heavy-duty tow truck.

Also, the crash affected traffic along Ridgecrest Road between Chinquapin and Tahoe until about 7:15 p.m.

The Victorville CHP station continues to investigate the crash.
