Rain Leads to Cajon Pass Auto Accidents on Interstate 15
CAJON PASS, CA (November 9, 2022) – Tuesday, the rain-slicked roads caused multiple crashes on Interstate 15.
The crashes and spin-outs stalled traffic on Interstate 15 from the high desert to the Inland Empire valley. A
The first crash happened at around 5:30 a.m. when a car hydroplaned. Then, a truck that crashed together blocked two lanes for over 30 minutes before the northbound I-15 Cleghorn Road exit.
Then, at around 7:50 a.m., a multi-vehicle crash occurred northbound on I-15, about two miles before Oak Hill Rd exit. Reports said that a semi crashed into the back of a sliver Kia sedan and a pickup truck spun out into the guardrail.
Meanwhile, a multi-vehicle crash happened at around 12:47 p.m. between Sierra Ave and Glen Helen Pkwy.
Also, officers confirmed that the incident led to no major injuries.
