South Bay Three-Vehicle Crash Reported on 405 Freeway and Vermont Avenue

 
SOUTH BAY, CA (March 9, 2021) – Monday morning, authorities received no reports of injuries after a wrong-way crash on 405 Freeway and Vermont Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, at around 2:24 a.m., authorities received a report of a vehicle traveling the wrong way. This incident transpired in the southbound lanes of 405 Freeway.
 
Moments later, CHP received a three-vehicle crash report just north of Vermont Avenue.
 
Furthermore, responders found two vehicles in the far right lanes and another vehicle in the left lane.
 
Moreover, authorities found a fourth vehicle down an embankment and a person trapped inside it. Los Angeles Fire worked to extricate the victim from the vehicle.
 
Also, officers revealed that no injuries were sustained in the crash.
