Phoenix Auto Accident on 51st Avenue and Cactus Road
PHOENIX, AZ (December 5, 2020) – Wednesday night, no injuries were reported in a stolen vehicle crash on 51st Avenue and Cactus Road.
According to reports, the Department of Public Safety will repair two vehicles rammed before a person got arrested for stealing a car.
The incident ended at 51st Avenue and Cactus Road. Meanwhile, the aerial video indicated that there were at least seven marked DPS vehicles surrounding a yellow four-door Dodge Charger.
Furthermore, DPS troopers said that the suspect stole a vehicle in the East Valley. Then, the driver went out of that vehicle and stole the Charger. This initial incident happened in Peoria near 83rd Avenue and Bell Road.
Afterward, troopers saw the stolen car on the highway but they didn’t pursue the suspect.
Then, the driver collided with a Toyota Prius at the west Phoenix intersection.
According to the Prius driver, the suspect failed to yield at a red light. Right after the crash, troopers surrounded the suspect.
Meanwhile, DPS officials revealed that two of their vehicles were hit during the incident.
No one suffered any injury.
Furthermore, the authorities continue to investigate the incident.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Drivers should also keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and failing to yield will lead to dangerous road accidents.
How To Proceed From a Crash
While driving is essential for many to move about in their lives, it is one of the most dangerous daily maneuvers. Thus, it is therefore important to know how to proceed in case you find yourself involved in a traffic collision.
On the AAA Foundation Web site, chief executive officer Peter Kissinger repeatedly labeled the epidemic of motor vehicle-related accidents a “public health crisis.”
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious auto accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured party. A lawyer will make sure victims are not cheated of the proper compensation they are owed.
