Los Molinos Auto Accident on Highway 99 and 3rd Avenue

 
LOS MOLINOS, CA (April 29, 2021) – Early Wednesday morning, a big rig crash on Highway 99 and 3rd Avenue led to no injuries.
 
The incident occurred just after 3:00 a.m. on Highway 99 and Third Avenue.
 
According to CHP Sergeant Crouch, a Toyota Tacoma pickup driver headed north on the highway (just north of Second Avenue). Then, he went off the road and crashed into a pole.
 
The impact pulled down a power line that landed across the highway, hitting a southbound semi.
 
As a result, the semi sustained damages and was disabled.
 
The authorities confirmed that both drivers suffered no injuries. Also, the authorities shut down the highway from Second Avenue to Third Avenue from 4:00 a.m. to roughly 6:40 a.m.
 
PG&E responded to the scene to fix the pole while Cal Trans helped in the traffic control.
