William Craig Hurt in Vehicle Crash on US Highway 97
Omak, WA (May 28, 2024) On Friday, 47-year-old Nicole Palmer of Omak and 58-year-old William Craig of Okanogan were hurt in a traffic collision on Highway 97.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the vehicle crash happened in the northbound lane of US Highway 97 at SR 215 Riverside Drive.
Reports say that the traffic crash involved a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup, driven by Craig, and a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup pulling a travel trailer, driven by Christopher McManus of Vernonia.
Officials say that debris from the crash hit a 2018 Jeep Renegade, driven by Lincoln Nere. Authorities say that McManus and Nere escaped injuries.
Authorities say that Craig failed to stop at a red light and struck the Dodge.
Craig and his passenger, Palmer suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital.
WSP is investigating the traffic crash and has not released additional information at this time.
