Nichole Hallowood Dead, Passenger Injured in Sacramento Solo-Vehicle Crash
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 4, 2019) – A driver died and one passenger was injured after their car crashed into a building on Monday, January 28.
According to Sacramento Police Department spokesman Sgt. Vance Chandler, at around 1:54 a.m., Nichole Hallowood was driving a sedan when it crashed into the building on Alhambra Boulevard at the end of X Street. Hallowood died at the scene and the vehicle’s other passenger sustained minor injuries.

The collision broke windows and cracked a wall of the building, which serves as offices of the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce and the Sacramento Urban League.
The reason behind the incident is still under investigation, and officials are still trying to find out whether drugs or alcohol is a factor in the collision, Chandler said.
