Nicholas Mccollum Involved in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 46 and Union Road [Paso Robles, CA]

No Injuries Reported in Paso Robles Auto Accident on Highway 46

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (June 3, 2020) – Friday evening, Nicholas Mccollum was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 46.
 
The CHP revealed that around 7:43 p.m., Templeton CHP Officer Denker stopped his patrol vehicle on Highway 46 and Union Road. He stopped to turn west near Paso Robles.
 
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Nicholas Mccollum of Citrus traveled in the fast lane, east on Highway 46 in a silver Nissan Altima. Furthermore, 47-year-old Margarita Santiago of Paso Robles was driving behind Mccollum in a black Honda CR-V.
 
At the same time, 25-year-old Louis Carlos of San Luis Obispo drove his dark blue Chevrolet Silverado east in the slow lane.
 
Nicholas Mccollum thought that he was about to drive past a posted stop sign. However, he saw the CHP vehicle and stopped. Then, Mccollum hit the brakes. In response, Santiago swerved her Honda to the right.

As a result, the Honda crashed with the left side of Carlos’ Chevrolet. The impact of the crash caused the Honda to spin out of control. Afterward, the Chevrolet’s right rear end struck the front end of the patrol car.
 
According to reports, the incident only caused property damages. The police do not believe that intoxication played a role in the crash.
 
Furthermore, CHP Officer T. Horne spearheaded the crash investigation.
