Injuries Reported in Deadly 4-Car Collision on I-15
Lake Elsinore, CA (March 8, 2024) On Wednesday evening, 34-year-old Nicholas Lanni of Norco, and 79-year-old Gene Kittiko of Ontario, died in a horrific 4-car crash on I-15.
According to the CHP, the deadly 4-car collision happened around 10 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15, just south of Indian Truck Trail.
Reports say that a gray sedan hit the center divider and led to a multi-vehicle crash. Officials say that all 4 vehicles suffered major damages and blocked at least 2 lanes of the freeway.
Officials pronounced Lanni dead at the scene, despite rescuers’ attempt to save his life.
Meanwhile, 4 other people suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital, however, officials say that a critically injured man, later identified as Kittiko, ultimately succumbed to his injuries and died 2 hours later.
CHP is investigating the horrific traffic crash and has not released additional information at this time.
