Major Injuries Sustained in Evening 2-Vehicle Wreck in Newman
NEWMAN, CA (December 13, 2018) – One person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Newman.
The crash happened around 9:14 p.m. at the intersection of Stuhr Road and Jorgensen Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a dark-colored SUV and a white sedan collided for unknown reasons. Glass and debris were strewn over the roadway.
Two occupants were reportedly injured, one of them was ejected during the crash and suffered major injuries.
Emergency crews were immediately called to the scene and transported the badly injured patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Both cars were towed away from the crash site.
The Newman Police Department are still investigating the cause of this accident and more information will be provided when accessible.
