Vehicle Overturns at Minneola and Summerset Roads
NEWBERRY SPRINGS, CA (May 10, 2019) – Two people were injured following a rollover crash Friday evening in Newberry Springs.
The crash happened just after 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Minneola Road and Summerset Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle carrying three people had overturned and landed on its roof. Two patients, including a juvenile, were injured as a result of the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene and took the patients to Barstow Community Hospital for proper treatment.
The overturned vehicle was towed away from the wreckage due to the extent of its damage.
It is currently unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. CHP is still investigating the incident.
