Two Pickup Trucks Collide on Highway 166 in New Cuyama Injuring One Driver
NEW CUYAMA, CA (May 1, 2019) – One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in New Cuyama.
The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. on Highway 166 at Aliso Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet pickup truck and a gray Dodge Dakota collided on the right shoulder of the highway.
As a result, one of the drivers suffered injuries to the eye. An ambulance unit took the patient to a hospital to receive proper treatment.
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
