Nettie Perkett and Taurean Lee of Antioch Die in Car Accident on I-680
Danville, CA (June 8, 2020) – On Sunday morning, Nettie Perkett and Taurean Lee died after a driver on the wrong side of the freeway collided with their Honda.
Authorities responded to the scene on June 7 at around 3:45 a.m., on the northbound lanes of I-680 near El Pintado Road.
There, they discovered that Camille Kimball, 27, had been driving southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway.
As a result, the Concord resident crashed into a 2012 Honda Civic, driven by 46-year-old Nettie Perkett, with Taurean Lee, 26, in the passenger seat.
Subsequently, both Perkett and Lee, of Antioch, died at the scene.
Kimball suffered minor injuries and responders took her to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, police arrested her on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony driving under the influence.
At this time, CHP continues to investigate this tragic incident.
