[UPDATE] Nelson Guzman Dead in Oakland Pedestrian Accident on 880 Freeway
OAKLAND, CA (May 17, 2020) – Late Thursday night, a deadly hit-and-run crash on southbound 880 Freeway in Oakland killed 39-year-old Nelson Guzman.
According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a report about a fatal accident on 880 Freeway at 29th Avenue off-ramp.
Due to the collision, the authorities issued a Sig-Alert at 11:59 p.m. Reports also revealed that the crash shut down all the lanes of the highway.
Meanwhile, the CHP revealed that Friday morning at 12:20 a.m., one lane had reopened.
