Major Injuries Sustained in Needles Multi-Vehicle Crash on 40 Freeway

 
NEEDLES, CA (May 6, 2019) – At least one person was airlifted following a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning, on 40 Freeway in Needles.
 
Authorities responded to the collision around 11:50 a.m. An off-duty paramedic on scene reported at least one patient with major head injuries. An air ambulance was requested to transport the individual to a hospital.
 
Details are sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired to cause the collision.
 
The incident is still currently under investigation.
