Injuries Reported in South Lake Tahoe Two-Vehicle Accident on Chonokis Road near Pioneer Trail
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (May 25, 2022) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Nayely Mora Lopez after a crash on Chonokis Road near Pioneer Trail.
The incident happened at around 10:10 p.m. on Chonokis Road near Pioneer Trail.
According to reports, 26-year-old Nayely Mora Lopez caused the head-on crash while under the influence of alcohol.
Then, authorities revealed that a 3-year-old rode as a passenger in Lopez’s car. Meanwhile, three people occupied the other vehicle. Moreover, responders took the three patients to Barton Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
After a field sobriety test, officers confirmed that Lopez was driving under the influence of alcohol.
