Nayeli Esquivel-Castro Involved in Othello Crash

Othello, WA (October 19, 2021) – On Sunday, Nayeli Esquivel-Castro, a 19-year-old Tacoma woman, and others suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 17.

The traffic accident took place at around 5 p.m. at the intersection with State Route 260.

Officers said a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Esquivel-Castro was approaching the intersection. However, she failed to yield the right-a-way and pulled out in front of a northbound 2020 Jeep Cherokee.

Rescuers rushed Esquivel-Castro and her two passengers to a Pasco hospital with injuries. 

Similarly, the rescue team also took the Jeep occupants to Othello Community Health for their injuries.
