Nathaniel Warren Washington Dies after Crash on Speedway Boulevard in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (October 3, 2022) – Sunday evening, 18-year-old Nathaniel Warren Washington died in a motorcycle crash on Speedway Boulevard.

The fatal crash in Tucson happened at around 7 p.m. on October 2.

Tucson Police said the collision involved a Dodge Dakota pickup truck and a Suzuki GSX-S1000F motorcycle.

Firefighters arrived and pronounced Washington dead on the scene.

Reportedly, the pickup truck was making a left turn from Speedway Boulevard from the median lane where a “No Turns” sign was when Washington was heading westbound on Speedway Boulevard and crashed into the pickup truck.

Witnesses said Washington was weaving through traffic and had his front wheel raised off the ground before the crash.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Police said he was also determined to not be impaired at the time of the incident.

Further investigation into this deadly crash is ongoing.
