Julie Warden Dies in Solo-Vehicle Accident on State Highway 155

Anderson County, TX (March 6, 2024) On Saturday evening, 16-year-old Nathaniel Lewis and 16-year-old Nathan Clewis were hurt in a fatal crash on SH 155 that killed 45-year-old Julie Warden of Jacksonville.

According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the single-vehicle crash happened around 9:25 p.m. on State Highway 155 about 9 miles south of Palestine.

Authorities say that Warden was driving a vehicle at a high rate of speed when she failed to make a curve entered the center median and began to roll over. Officials say that the crash ejected Warden off the vehicle.

Reports say that Warden was pronounced dead at the scene, while both teens were transported to CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler.

Officials are investigating the fatal crash and have not released further information at this time.
