Nathan Tuvalu Arrested in Disastrous Hit-and-Run Crash near Millbrae Avenue [San Mateo County, CA]

1 Injured in San Mateo County Pedestrian Accident near Millbrae Avenue and El Camino Real

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA (May 27, 2024) – Sunday morning, Nathan Tuvalu was arrested in a disastrous hit-and-run crash near Millbrae Avenue.

The crash involving a car and a pedestrian happened at about 5:40 a.m. near Millbrae Avenue and El Camino Real.

When the authorities arrived, deputies rendered aid until the victim was taken to a local hospital for her life-threatening injuries. 

According to some witnesses, the driver of the vehicle hit the pedestrian before escaping the scene in the vehicle. Thus, the authorities used the automated license plate reader technology was utilized in the investigation to find the suspect. 

Then, officers identified the suspect as 32-year-old Millbrae resident Tuvalu. Thus, officers arrested him at his home and booked him into the Maguire Correctional Facility for felony hit-and-run.
