THOUSAND PALMS, CA (June 14, 2021) – Early Sunday morning, 7-year-old Natalie Tellez died in a crash on 10 Freeway and Monterey Avenue.
 
The fatal incident involving a vehicle with a blown-out tire happened at 1:52 a.m., the CHP revealed. Moreover, it occurred on the eastbound 10 Freeway at the Monterey Avenue off-ramp.
 
Meanwhile, the Riverside County coroner’s office confirmed that Natalie Tellez died at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. She succumbed to her injuries an hour after the crash.
 
At this time, additional details about the crash remain unavailable. However, the CHP confirmed that the incident was fatal.
 
Also, the CHP added that a passenger in the vehicle sustained a hand injury requiring medical assistance.
