Natalie Gage-Avila and Marcus Harris Killed in Highway 46 collision [Seguin, TX]

Seguin, TX (November 22, 2023) – Natalie Gage-Avila, 23, of New Braunfels, and Marcus Harris, 37, of Luling both died in a Highway 46 collision.

The collision unfolded just before 1 a.m. on Highway 46 North near Cordova Road.

Investigators said that a Jeep Cherokee was southbound on the freeway when it veered into the northbound lanes and struck a Chrysler 300 head-on. Sadly both drivers were declared dead at the scene.

The authorities said they located the Chrysler 300 consumed in the fire while the Jeep Cherokee sustained extensive damage.

Two other vehicles struck some of the nearby debris. The two drivers received care from EMS crews but were not hospitalized.

Moreover, a passenger inside one of the vehicles was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
