Girl Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Crash in Pico-Union
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 6, 2019) – Authorities identified 13-year-old Natalia Rodriguez as the girl injured in a hit-and-run crash on Pico Boulevard, Friday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened near Alvarado Street, at about 6:30 AM. The victim was walking to school and attempted to cross in a marked crosswalk. There, a northbound gray Jeep Grand Cherokee hit her.

Investigators described the suspect as a man in his 30s. He is about 6 feet 2 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. Witnesses last saw him wearing a black cap, a gray shirt, and black shoes. Also, his vehicle had license plates from another state.
