BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 23, 2020) – On September 6, 13-year-old Nasir Gordon died, and two people were airlifted in a rollover crash on Highway 58 in Bakersfield.
 
The authorities revealed that the crash occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on Highway 58, east of Claymine Road in North Edwards.
 
According to reports, a vehicle overturned and landed into the center median. Due to the force, several people were thrown off.
 
At this time, the total number of occupants of the vehicle remains undisclosed. Moreover, the cause of the crash remains undetermined.
 
The CHP revealed that two people were airlifted to hospitals for treatment. Meanwhile, the authorities shut down the eastbound traffic on Highway 58 to let the helicopter land and transport the patients.
 
The roads have since reopened.
