Sergio R. Hernandez Arrested after Hit-and-Run Collision on Browns Valley Road near Robinson Lane
NAPA, CA (February 4, 2018) – A 52-year-old Napa man that was under the influence of alcohol was arrested after his vehicle struck a child on Browns Valley Road near Robinson Lane Sunday morning.
The child sustained injuries to her head and face and was rushed by an ambulance to the hospital. There are no updates on the child’s current condition.
Police stated that the incident occurred at around 11 AM on Sunday. According to witness reports, the driver of the vehicle did not stop after the crash and fled up the hillside on the south side of Browns Valley Road. He was later found by authorities hiding in a bush.
The driver of the vehicle, Sergio R. Hernandez, failed sobriety tests and was booked at the Napa County jail on suspicion of drunk driving and hit-and-run.
