Hit-and-Run Crash on Cement Hill Near Laurel Creek Park Kills Namie Stewart
Fairfield, CA (October 24, 2020) – An elderly woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Cement Hill on Wednesday night.
The tragic incident took place on October 22 at around 11 p.m. on Cement Hill.
Fairfield police dispatch arrived at the scene and found a woman lying on the road. Officials identified the now-deceased victim as Namie Stewart, an 81-year-old woman from Fairfield.
According to the report, a vehicle struck Stewart near the Laurel Creek Part. Medics transported her to a local hospital however, she later succumbed to her injuries.
Furthermore, the police said that the crash is currently under investigation as a felony hit-and-run. Moreover, there has been no update regarding the suspect.
