Florence Avenue Multi-Vehicle Crash Kills Myshawn Logan and Quindien Holmes

 
Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2021) – On Sunday, Myshawn Logan, 14, and Quindien Holmes, 23, both of Los Angeles, and an unnamed man in his 20s, were all killed in a crash on Florence Avenue.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 10:51 p.m. at the intersection of South Central Avenue.
 
Apparently, the driver of a 2007 Toyota was driving eastbound at an unsafe speed when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed with a Jeep.
 
Then, the Jeep rear-ended a third vehicle, described as a Honda.
 
Subsequently, the Toyota continued out of control until it slammed into a building and a pole.
 
Unfortunately, a male passenger was thrown from the Toyota and died at the scene. Two more male passengers in the back seat of the Toyota died at the scene.
 
On the other hand, responders took the driver, a 20-year-old man from Hawthorne, to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries.
 
Los Angeles County coroner’s officials have identified Logan, Holmes, and an unnamed man in his 20s as the three that died in the three vehicle accident.
 
Moreover, rescuers also took a Jeep passenger, a 28-year-old Los Angeles woman, to St. Francis Medical Center with what was described as minor injuries.
 
No injuries were reported to the drivers of the Jeep or Honda.
 
Meanwhile, officers do not consider alcohol or drugs to be factors in the accident. Also, no arrests were made as of this time.
