Myra Walter Cited in Injury Crash on State Route 17 [Othello, WA]

Othello, WA (March 8, 2022) – On Sunday, the authorities cited a 74-year-old Othello woman, Myra Walter in an injury crash on State Route 17 near Herman Road.

Officers said Walter was driving a southbound 2014 Subaru south on the freeway. She rear-ended a 2016 Jeep Wrangler as the driver slowed to make a left turn.

Then, a 2022 Toyota Corolla struck the Jeep and rested against an embankment.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the Jeep driver, a 35-year-old Othello woman, and her juvenile passenger, to a hospital with injuries.

The paramedics also took the 16-year-old Toyota driver to the hospital.

Similarly, the rescuers transported Walter to to Othello Community Hospital.

Moreover, the investigators said Myra Walter failed to slow for the Jeep. They cited her for driving too fast for conditions.
