Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Cajon Boulevard in Muscoy

 
MUSCOY, CA (March 14, 2019) – A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in Muscoy, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:44 p.m. at 3512 Cajon Boulevard.
 
A witness told officers that a female pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed.
 
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman dead.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending notification of her family members.
 
The southbound lanes of Cajon Boulevard were forced to shut down for the on-scene investigation.
