GLENDALE, AZ (March 30, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a negligent driver caused a multiple-injury crash near 51st and Peoria Avenue.

The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. near 51st and Peoria Avenue.

According to reports, two vehicles in a race ran a red light on westbound Peoria Avenue. Then, one of the vehicles collided with a southbound vehicle at the intersection. Also, the force of the crash pushed the victim’s vehicle to roll over multiple times before bursting into flames.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the driver of the suspect vehicle sustained serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the victim’s vehicle suffered minor injuries.
