Injuries Sustained in Bakersfield Traffic Incident on Highway 65 and Banner Avenue

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 8, 2021) – Sunday night, authorities received a report of injuries after a wrong-way crash on Highway 65 and Banner Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the wrong way driver corrected his direction when traffic gets close. Then, the driver traveled again in the wrong direction.
 
Afterward, at around 8:00 p.m., the wrong-way driver collided with a Grey Nissan. This collision happened along Banner Avenue, just north of Highway 65.
 
Also, just north of the first crash, another vehicle crashed into a tree.
 
Furthermore, authorities said that a person sustained moderate injuries while three more suffered minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers are actively searching for the wrong-way driver around the area.
