Multiple Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash on 170th Street West and Highway 138 [Antelope Valley, CA]

8 Hospitalized in Antelope Valley Traffic Accident on 170th Street West and Highway 138

 
ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (September 18, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash on 170th Street West and Highway 138 led to injuries.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Edgar Figueroa, the incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. Also, the collision occurred at the intersection of 170th Street West and Highway 138.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound vehicle ran a stop sign and struck an eastbound minivan.
 
Moreover, responders transported one patient with critical injuries and four people with severe injuries to a hospital via helicopter. Also, paramedics transported two people with moderate injuries to a hospital via ground ambulance. Then, responders took the driver of the other vehicle to a hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
