DALLAS, TX (June 18, 2024) – Monday afternoon, an officer was hospitalized after an alarming multi-vehicle crash on North Central Expressway.
The incident involving a Dallas police car happened just before 4:00 p.m. which led to a backup in the southbound lanes of North Central Expressway near Royal Lane
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the incident has resulted in the blockage of three lanes, a shoulder, and both an entrance and exit ramp.
Authorities have confirmed that both an officer and another individual were taken to a local hospital as a precaution. While further specifics about the crash are not yet available, it has been clarified that the incident was not connected to any police pursuit.
