Argyle, TX (August 23, 2024) – On Friday, six people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W. 

Denton County Emergency Services District No. 1 has shut down all traffic on northbound I-35W at Crawford Road due to a major vehicle crash. 

Officials tweeted that the collision involved multiple vehicles on northbound I-35W.

Argyle Police Chief Emmitt Jackson reported that emergency crews have transported six people to hospitals—four to Medical City Denton and two to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. 

Jackson added that Denton County emergency personnel administered CPR to at least two individuals at the scene.

Drivers should avoid the area as first responders work to manage the situation.
