Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 Results in Injury [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (September 4, 2024) On Monday afternoon, a multi-vehicle crash on I-15 left at least one person hurt.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened at about 1:47 p.m. n northbound I-15 just after the Main Street exit.

Reports say that at least 7 to 8 vehicles were involved in the crash.

Officials say that among the vehicles involved, were a burgundy Kia Sportage SUV, a white Mercedes-Benz SUV, a white Kia Forte sedan, a gray Ford Ranger pickup truck, a white Nissan Altima sedan, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck, and a silver Mazda sedan.

Authorities say that the crash between the Kia SUV and the Mercedes-Benz started the chain-reaction crash that involved several other vehicles.

EMS, ambulances and tow trucks were dispatched to the scene, officials confirmed that injuries were reported at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the multi-vehicle collision and has not released further information at this time.
