Tragic Multi-Vehicle Crash on Cerritos Avenue Led to Fatality [Azusa, CA]

Azusa, CA (October 6, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, several people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Cerritos Avenue.

According to the Azusa Police Department, the fatal event happened at about 4 p.m. near the intersection of Cerritos Avenue and Arrow Highway.

Reports say that 2 eastbound motorcycles hit a car on Arrow Highway, the collision sent both riders of the motorcycle off their bikes.

Authorities say that one of the motorcycle riders died at the scene due to the injuries suffered in the crash, while the other was rushed to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries and died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, one of the bikes hit a pedestrian that was off to the side of the road on the sidewalk, the crash killed the pedestrian.

Officials say that all victims were male.

Police are investigating the fatal accident and have not released further details at this time.
