One Person Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 Near Rancho California Road

Temecula, CA (August 21, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 killed one person and left three others injured on Thursday.

The fatal collision took place on August 19 on Interstate 15 near Rancho California Road at about 9:54 p.m. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Lexus crashed into multiple vehicles for unknown reasons. It is currently unknown how many vehicles were involved in the collision. 

One person died due to the impact of the collision. However, the victim’s identification is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin. 

Furthermore, three others sustained minor injuries from the crash. There have been no updates regarding their current condition. 

The extent of the collision prompted the closure of all the lanes of the freeway for preliminary duties and investigation.
