Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Roscoe Boulevard
SUN VALLEY, CA (November 17, 2018) – On Saturday afternoon, several lanes were closed after a multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 2:29 PM on the southbound lanes, near Roscoe Boulevard. Authorities recovered a total of four vehicles at the scene: a blue van, a black car, and two unknown vehicles. At least eight cars were pulled over to help the involved parties.
Circumstance that led to the pile-up are unknown at this time. Paramedics arrived upon request for needed medical attention, but there is no information on the injuries sustained.
A SigAlert was issued closing the No. 1 and 2 lanes while a clearing operation was performed in the area. There is an ongoing investigation to determine contributing factors. No additional information has been released to the public.
