Several Injured in San Francisco Car Accident
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 19, 2019) – A total of five vehicles were involved in a multi-vehicle car accident on Bay Street Tuesday afternoon.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department the accident occurred just after 2:30 PM. Authorities then arrived at the intersection of Bay and Hyde Street soon after.
The Powell-Hyde Cable Car service was shut down for a period of time due to the accident. Transportation officials provided them with shuttle services.
Three occupants were injured as a result of the impact. One injured victim was also transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. There has been no update on the status of their current condition.
Furthermore, the cause of the accident is still currently unknown as there is an ongoing investigation.
