Multi-Vehicle Car Crash on 5 Freeway [Bakersfield, CA]

Injuries Sustained in Multiple Car Collision near Lost Hills

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 26, 2018) – Several were injured in a multi-vehicle car crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 5 near Lost Hills. The identities of those involved has yet to be released.

California Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred just before 10:00 AM on 5 freeway, south of Main Drain Road. About six to seven vehicles were involved. Due to the collision, the lanes were closed off for a brief period of time.

Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene due to multiple injuries sustained from the accident. There has been no update on their medical conditions.

There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time as the investigation continue.
