Injuries Reported in Hesperia 3-Vehicle Crash on Summit Valley Road near Highway 138
HESPERIA, CA (November 6, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a crippling multi-vehicle accident on Summit Valley Road near Highway 138 led to injuries.
Initially, the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a head-on crash involving two vehicles. However, they received another report of a third vehicle being involved after the initial head-on crash.
Reports revealed that the collision happened at about 4:05 a.m. on Summit Valley Road, in a curve near Highway 138.
Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the crash involved three vehicles, including a gray Subaru Outback SUV and two unknown vehicles.
Also, two vehicles were found blocking the roadway and the third vehicle landed about 15 to 20 feet off the shoulder of the roadway.
Then, responders took at least one person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The crash caused no other major injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
