Multi-Vehicle Accident on State Route 12 Kills 21-Year-Old Man [Lockeford, CA]

Lockeford, CA (September 4, 2023) On Saturday evening, a 21-year-old man died after a multi-vehicle accident on State Route 12.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened at about 7 p.m. west of Disch Road.

Reports say that a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado crashed onto the back of a 2022 Honda driving in front of the vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the Honda to lose control and veered onto the opposite lane and collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado.

Officials pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene. a 35-year-old occupant of the 2022 Chevrolet was transported to the hospital.
