Los Angeles, CA (October 5, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, 7 people were hurt, 3 of which were hospitalized in a violent multi-car crash on West 81st Street.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the multi-car crash happened around 1 p.m. on the 200 block of West 81st Street, east of the 110 Freeway.

Reports say that a wanted robbery suspect crashed into a vehicle at high speed, a third vehicle was also involved in the catastrophic crash.

Officials say that 3 people suffered serious injuries, a 40-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, and a 28-year-old man. Meanwhile, a 5-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl a 5-month-old girl, and a 24-year-old woman were in fair condition.

All patients were transported to the hospital.
