26-Year-Old Woman Rescued and Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Seattle
Seattle, WA (November 29, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a 26-year-old woman from Seattle was hurt and hospitalized after a horrific multi-car crash on 12th Avenue.
According to the Seattle Fire Department (SFD), the horrendous crash happened at about 11 p.m. near East Columbia Street.
Reports say that the late-night crash near Seattle University left the 26-year-old woman hospitalized, officials say that the woman is in stable condition after emergency crews rescued her from a wrecked car.
Authorities say that two moving vehicles collided at the intersection of 12th Avenue and East Columbia Street, damaging four parked cars in the process.
Officials say that the crash left significant destruction, including smashed windows, broken axles, and at least one exposed engine.
Seattle Fire Department crews extricated the injured woman from the wreckage and transported her to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
Neighbors described the scene as severe, with substantial damage to the two vehicles involved in the initial collision. Police officers also responded, though KOMO News has not yet received a statement from the Seattle Police Department.
