MoVal Resident Jay Britton Killed in Ironwood Avenue Collision [Moreno Valley, CA]

Moreno Valley, CA (October 11, 2024) – 60-year-old Jay Britton of Moreno Valley was killed in an Ironwood Avenue collision Wednesday night.

It was past 9 p.m. when the fatal head-on crash happened on Helga Lane.

Troopers said Britton was driving on Ironwood Avenue toward Helga Lane when he drove into oncoming traffic. His vehicle then collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. 

Immediately, the rescuers arrived at the scene and declared Jay Britton dead.

Moreover, two people riding the other car were transported to nearby Riverside University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities said there was no information on which vehicle was traveling east or west.

This collision is under investigation.
